Activities:

Each department has a Club that conducts activities to enrich and hone the leadership skills, organizing abilities, foster a spirit of community service and be sensitive to community needs.

Gastronomy Club:

The club extends training in culinary skills and motivates the students to conduct workshops in their areas of interest. Students are also encouraged to come out with innovative ideas in the field of culinary science.

Elixir Club:

The clubs conducts “record creating events”, quiz competition and workshops to refine the F and B service skills and knowledge. The club also has a training restaurant “Le Jardin” managed by the club members.

Bolleria Club:

The Club trains students in baking and confectionary skills

Synergy club:

The employability skills and personality development is fostered through debates, group discussion, workshops on grooming, experts talk by industrial professionals.

Eco Club:

Field trips and workshops are conducted to inculcate and sensitize the students towards environmental concern

Rotaract Club:

Students are consciously directed towards taking up social services. Visits are arranged to old age homes, orphanages and homes for underprivileged.

NSS:

The activities of this unit strives to imbibe national consciousness among our students and strengthen the spirit of service and sacrifice among the students.

Student consumer cell:

This cell stocks all items required by the students.

Some of the regular activities conducted by the Student’s Council to put into practice the theory learnt are:

  1. Theme dinner – wherein students are involved in the marketing, production & service of Food & Beverage based on a particular theme.
  2. Rendezvous – the state level intercollegiate Literary and Hospitality Skills competitions organized by the students
  3. Aroma – the annual Food Festival, gives the students real life experience of planning, scheduling, organizing and executing a large scale catering operation.
  4. Students celebrates festivals like Onam, Diwali, Christmas, Krishna Janmashtami, Id with a community meal to promote integration and a spirit of camaraderie among students
